Next week (24th - 28th November) is exam week in KS2. The children will be tested to see what progress they have made so far this year in English and Maths.
In both year 3 classes the tests will be on the following days:
Monday: Maths written test
Tuesday: Reading (part 1)
Wednesday: Reading (part 2)
Thursday: Spelling test and mental maths test
If you would like to revise, here are some ideas of what you can do at home:
For Maths, anything we have done so far this year could be in the test. Look through the homework sheets you have completed in year 3. Do you still understand all of the work we have done? Is there anything you need to practise a little more?
For reading, continue to read in English everyday and talk about what you have read. This will help you to answer the questions confidently.
For spelling, look through the lists of High Frequency Words on this blog. Any of the words on these lists could be in the test. How many can you spell?
Good luck!
