Dictation Sentences week 10

This week we are looking at the oo sound and how it can be spelled in different ways. Here are some sentences to practise your spelling words:

Group 1
When I was eating my food, I hit my tooth with the spoon.
My room has a smooth roof but is very gloomy.
My new boots help me to zoom across the park.

Group 2
Did you see the statue in the spooky school?
I knew I didn´t like mushrooms.
Last June, I drew a huge blueberry!

Group 3 have some more homophones to understand. Remember that these are words that sound the same but are spelled differently so you will have to learn the meanings of each word too.

Why am I not allowed to read aloud today?
I am going to steal the steel cutlery.
They took their toys over there and passed them around.
